My New Year's goals:
1. Lose some weight.

2. Build more gear. (already in progress)

3. Record more music. (highly likely - RPM Challenge 2009 is next month - but hopefully more than just that)

4. Perform live at least once, at a pre-scheduled performance (i.e. playing at random at Recycled Rainbow doesn't count...) at a real venue.

5. Hit a new Cheeseburger Summit - I didn't get ANY in 2008. That's lame.

6. Attempt travel within budget.

I suppose that's good for now.

My not quite Fame:
I believe I have found a picture of myself on Wikipedia. If you look at the picture in the entry for George 'The Fat Man' Sanger, the blurred background head furthest to the left seems to be mine. The picture was taken at last year's Notacon/Blockparty, which I attended. So, the likelihood of that being me is at least nonzero.

I was hanging with my peeps (and buying my ticket) last night, and somehow the phrase "new age bluegrass" was mentioned.

This then triggered the best band name I have ever thought of.

Banjerine Dream.

It's like Tangerine Dream, but with more Banjo.
